Although we would love to include your children in our special day, we have decided to keep our wedding a 21+ event outside of immediate family members children. If you have any questions, please reference the names listed on the formal invitation.
Only the guests listed on the formal invitation are invited to the wedding. Thank you so much for understanding!
DO's:
GET FANCY!
Our wedding will follow a Black Tie / Formal Dress Code. With our wedding being in the spring, we highly encourage colorful attire - HAVE FUN and DRESS UP!!!!
Floor length gowns, fancy cocktail dresses, or elegant pant suits are recommended for women.
Suits or Tuxedos recommended for men.
DONT's:
Dress Down.
Please no jeans, khakis, shorts, or casual wear.
We politely ask that you please do not wear white or off white/cream as the Bride and Groom will be wearing variations of this color.
Overall, please be respectful and mindful with your attire choices. If you have questions regarding dress code, please don't hesitate to reach out to us!
We recommend flying into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) which is about a 10-15 minute ride from downtown D.C. Other alternatives within a 40-60 minute ride are Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).
We will be providing a hotel room block when formal invitations are sent out, otherwise we recommend looking for hotels in the following neighborhoods: Navy Yard, Mt. Vernon Square, Convention Center and Downtown D.C. - if you have questions about hotels in other neighborhoods, please don't hesitate to ask us.
If you will not be at the wedding please advise us as soon as possible with a "soft" RSVP on our website of "yes or no" or with a text message or phone call. Formal invitations to follow later this month.
